State Farm Gets Its Game On With VIZIO’s Gaming Collection

VIZIO and State Farm have joined forces to bring the latest season of The State Farm Gamerhood series to VIZIO viewers through the newly launched VIZIO Gaming Hub, part of a multiplatform partnership between the two companies.

 

Gamerhood: Neo City brings together some of the most recognizable names in streaming and entertainment to be guided by Jake from State Farm as they compete in arena games and video game challenges. They are all playing for a $100K charitable donation to their team’s designated charity. Watch now on State Farm's Twitch and YouTube channels, with new episodes dropping every Friday in August at 6 pm ET.

 

VIZIO is giving the series prominent placement in its Gaming Hub, including a Hero ad unit where viewers can play the all-new season with a simple click of a button. Additionally, each individual episode will appear among the content options within the Gaming Hub collection. Both are deep-linked to YouTube, where the content resides for a frictionless experience.

 

Now through the end of August, State Farm will be the presenting sponsor of Gaming Hub in support of this campaign. Launched in February, VIZIO’s all-new Gaming Hub turns viewers’ living rooms into an arcade, with a huge selection of classic games available directly from the VIZIO TV. The all-free lineup includes such classics as Tetris, Wheel of Fortune, Pixel Dash, World Poker Tour, and more.

 

The Gaming Hub was created in response to internal data that showed 43% of VIZIO’s audience identified themselves as gamers. In addition to giving our viewers what they want, the Gaming Hub also provides brands like State Farm with an environment to reach this same audience with content and custom environments that appeal to them.

 

The State Farm Gamerhood: Neo City showcases VIZIO’s capabilities to bring TV entertainment and brand-led content to the living room Home Screen seamlessly connecting multiple consumer entry points.

 

Taken together, this campaign is a clear example of how brands and programmers alike can reach highly specific audiences with equally highly targeted content on a mass-reach vehicle like the VIZIO platform.
