VIZIO has built some premium real estate on that property in the form of content collections or hubs. “It's where brands align around the cultural and seasonal moments that audiences really care about,” Quidwai explains.

 

One of the biggest hits of these hubs is the VIZIO Sports Zone, which allows fans to hop from game to game without having to jump through myriad searches and menus. “Think March Madness, Winter Olympics, the World Cup,” Quidwai says. “Along the way, we're now layering in interactive elements across those entire experiences and extending them into video environments like WatchFree+.”

Brands Want To Become The Entertainment

WatchFree+ is also where VIZIO's branded content lives for partners like Bet, MGM, Mattel, Hilton, and Mobil-1. Mobi-1’s rip-roaring NASCAR reality series Saturday Night Lights is part of a full slate of branded original series that extends into Walmart product pages and stores.

 

“We're taking celebrity hosts, influencers, interactivity, all allowing brands to truly become part of the entertainment,” Quidwai says. “The result? A powerful flywheel that allows you to move from media exposure all the way through to commerce.”

 

Brands are leaning in to VIZIO’s branded content offering more so than ever, and it is going to fuel a major slate of new original series.
