The living room has a new front door. At the NewFront 2026 presentation—Content to Commerce—VIZIO welcomed the industry to a new era of home entertainment, where the transition from discovering a story to completing a purchase is more seamless than ever before..

 

Leading the charge, Mike O’Donnell, VIZIO’s Chief Revenue and Strategic Growth Officer, pulled back the curtain on a year of explosive growth and technical integration.

 

"At last year's NewFront, VIZIO was in the early days of joining the Walmart family. We shared a little bit about the potential that had us all excited," O'Donnell told the audience. "Today, just over a year in, we're here to show you how that potential has turned into real innovation and real impact. As part of Walmart, we are the gateway in the living room to the world's largest retailer. This gives us the chance to improve the shopping and viewing experience in tandem."

 

 

 

VIZIO Is the Fastest-Growing Platform in the U.S.

The scale of this partnership is no longer just theoretical. VIZIO OS is now the #1 fastest-growing TV platform in the U.S., powering one in every five TVs sold in America. With 22 million active accounts, VIZIO now reaches between 25% and 30% of all U.S. households.

 

But it’s the location of these screens that changes the game for advertisers. With 90% of Americans living within 10 miles of a Walmart, the VIZIO OS acts as the "front end" of a massive retail operation, meeting customers at the very start of their shopping journey.

 

For starters, Walmart serves more than 150 million U.S. customers every week online and in stores. There are more than 4,600 Walmart’s across the country, and 90% of Americans live within 10 miles of a location.

 

VIZIO now greets millions of people in the aisles of those stores, O’Donnell said. At the end of last year, the company announced that VIZIO TVs will operate as a Walmart private‑label brand with VIZIO’s award‑winning operating system rolling out to power Walmart private‑label onn TVs, sold at Walmart and Sam’s Club.
